About Flipbeat
Flipbeat is a blog && portfolio site by Jenny me (I promised myself I wouldn't go all third person on the about page. x__x) It began on September 27th, 2008. Right after my birthday (14th), I gave up one of my old domains. But I had like, this craving for a new site so I went heck, why not. Flipbeat was my birthday gift. It first started out as a graphic/resource site. Then I revamped and it became some sort of blog offering graphics. Then I revamped again to turn it into a portfolio and to start over fresh with validated coding.
At first I was going to name the website Kymchi, but seriously, how original is that? I was really about to go with that name (I made this layout and all. I swear, the gmail draft sending an application for sub-domain hosting is still in my folder), but I eventually came up with the name Flipbeat. Since my computer didn't work well with FTP, I came up with another name and got a domain.
Alas, Flipbeat has come this far. Yet we still have a long way to go.
